Tecumseh Area Community Emergency Response Team (TACERT)  TACERT Meeting  February 23, 2008  The Tecumseh Area Community Emergency Response Team, also known as the TACERT,  met February 23, 2008 at 10:00am in the Tecumseh United Methodist Church, 334 SE Tecumseh Rd,  Tecumseh, KS.   Attending the meeting were:  Herb Whitlow,  David Brink, Linda Brink, Pat Krug, Neva Martin, Jan Kieffer, Mary Ertl, Willa Norwood, Justin Pfeifer, and Ethan Pfeifer.   Justin  Pfeifer and Ethan Pfeifer are representing  Boy Scout Troop 18, on the TACERT.   It was decided to change the TACERT meeting time to 9:00 am from 10:00 am.  It was decided to include an additional division into the area of focus.  The new division, also known as Division 22 is bounded by:      Baldwin Rd./10th St. North to 2nd St.             Hwy.40/Baldwin East to Hwy. K4             2nd. St/Baldwin East to Hwy.K4   A list of prospective contact persons for each division was created.  Team members will recruit those persons on the list as division contacts, and invite them to the next TACERT meeting.  Herb had a detailed map printed of the area of focus that included residence location and addresses.  Pat Krug and Jan Kieffer will outline the  divisions onto the map of the area of focus.  Herb will get enlarged maps of each of the 22 divisions and bring them to our next TACERT meeting.  The next CERT training is scheduled for:          Fri.  April 18, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm         Sat.  April 19, 2008 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm                                 and         Fri.  April 25, 2008  from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm         Sat.  April 26, 2008  from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm   CERT training will be held in the Tecumseh United Methodist Church 334 SE Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, KS.  CERT training is free and all materials are provided.  The next TACERT meeting is March 29, 2008 at 9:00 am in the Tecumseh United Methodist Church,  334 SE Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, KS.   The TACERT meeting was adjourned at 11:45 Submitted by Mary Ertl TACERT Secretary
